Urvashi Malik
CollegeCore is headed by Urvashi Malik, Founder & Managing Director with over twenty-one years of experience in guiding and aiding students. As founder and lead counselor, she brings her invaluable experience when guiding students and leading a team of Associates to work one on one with students.
As College Advisor at Vasant Valley School she has an in-depth understanding of systems from both the perspective of the school and of the student.
Disha Malik
Disha is a Director at CollegeCore. An Economics and English Literature graduate from the University of Chicago (Class of 2012) and an MBA from the Booth School of Business (Class of 2018). Having been through the application process herself, Disha brings a first-hand perspective to the process. She applied to the US, UK, Canada and Singapore and received numerous scholarships. She is currently working as a Manager with Deloitte in Chicago.
Smita Khanna Bajaj
Smita leads the Editorial Team at CollegeCore. As an experienced writer and editor with a background as Travel Editor at Dorling Kindersley, Freelance Editor at Random House and Correspondent at Times of India, Smita’s vast experience with the written word plays a big role leading our team of in house editors and working with students in the Essay Writing process.

Charu Kakkar
Charu is a hands-on college admissions counselor and has a strong sense of purpose in helping students on a daily basis through her knowledge of institutions abroad, courses offered, the admissions process and general end-to-end individualized guidance. She is armed with strong interpersonal skills and corporate experience of over 15 years in the field of College Admissions Counseling and Public Relations. She has worked with numerous students globally and many multinational clients and projects. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English and a Masters in Advertising & Public Relations.
Simerna Sokhi
Simerna is a Double graduate in Political Science and Education (B.Ed.) and Masters in Communication. She has 15 years of work experience in the field of Operations, Risk Management, Training and Education. Simerna helps students curate projects to explore their diverse passions and tap into their hidden potential. Her personable approach enables her to engage with students and parents meaningfully.
Sonu Kohli
Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University. 10 years of experience as an educator. Help students develop their passion and interest by creating an individualized plan, basis their strengths and interests.
Sugandha Mahajan
Post-Graduation in Marketing & Advertising, and graduation in Economics (Hons) from the Delhi University. Brings 15 years of work experience across organizations and industries ranging from Career Counselling to Telecommunication, and the Hindustan Times. Connects the students’ interests with their majors and helps build their unique profiles, motivating them to dream big, and to keep going!
Nikita Malik
Nikita graduated with a major in Economics and a minor in Math from Ohio State University. Passionate about the environment, Nikita founded her own sustainable lifestyle brand aimed to raise awareness about climate change and its impact. Having run a successful business venture she understands the importance of innovation and leadership and helps students understand their strengths and interests and brings those out to enhance their profiles.
Geetika Gupta
Post Graduate in Clinical & Organisational Behaviour Psychology, Geetika comes with an experience of 12+ years in Marketing & Communications with the leading organizations of the country. Geetika helps students build unique profiles and helps them come up with innovative ways to showcase their talents.
