The biggest concern I had before starting my application process was how I would write my essays. With CollegeCore, I was given step by step suggestions on my essays. JULY 2012: I was a naïve high school senior, preparing myself to traverse the road towards my dream colleges. “CollegeCore” was quite new to me when I initially thought of applying for a undergraduate course to the US. Applying abroad is a strenuous task, especially with all the studying of class 12. But Urvashi Ma’am helped streamline my application, hugely simplifying the various tasks one has to complete. When I decided to apply to the U.S. two years ago I knew that I wanted to gain admission to a good college in the US to study Economics. But I did not for the life of me know how to go about it. That’s when I got to know about CollegeCore, and about Urvashi Ma’am, who had helped one of my friends find himself at a great University. Two years later, I find myself poised to realise my long-standing dream. Almost all the credit, needless to say goes to the sound advice and guidance provided by Urvashi Ma’am. Right from the time I began penning down my Common App essay to the time I found myself ploughing through all the paperwork and the supplementary essays, Urvashi Ma’am and her team at CollegeCore were always by my side. Once I remember, I was applying to the University of California just a day before the deadline and I needed a last-minute clarification, and Urvashi Ma’am was available even at 11 in the night. She answered the telephone and was more than willing to help me out even at the unearthly hour. The best part of working with CollegeCore is that their brilliant editors can provide valuable inputs on essays within a short frame of time. I truly enjoyed working with Urvashi Ma’am and am thoroughly satisfied with the result of our collective efforts.

I think the best thing about CollegeCore is that how personal everything is and how there is someone to help each step of the way. Everything was made so systematic, from chosing colleges, to filling out the applications and supplements. I can recall a lot of “Wow” moments, but the best was finishing up the UCAS application in just one day with Urvashi Ma’am and being accepted into Oxford University. In fact, in the beginning I had no idea what sort of personal statement to write and what to write in it but with just one session with Urvashi Ma’am I had all my thoughts sorted. The personal touch is what makes CollegeCore so special.

College applications have been one of the most challenging processes I have ever dealt with. They have made me grow and understand myself like never before. And I can say without the shadow of a doubt that this process wouldn’t have been as smooth, structured and successful for me without the help of College Core. I really appreciated Urvashi Ma’am’s constant support and reassurance, and valued her accessibility the most. I strongly recommend high school students, aspiring to pursue further education in the US, to make use of the expertise and experience of College Core.
