I loved that the CollegeCore team offered me a comprehensive support system, not only helping me streamline my resume but also recommending tutors for last-minute standardised test-prep, offering their feedback on my ideas for competitions, and suggesting opportunities that would be hard to find independently. CollegeCore made the applications process efficient and structured – a huge plus for my schedule! Most importantly, Urvashi ma’am, Anu ma’am, and team supported me in my attempts to be authentic, helping my natural voice and passions shine through. 

I particularly remember the session where I shared personal stories as potential topics for my Common App essay. Urvashi ma’am’s suggestions at the end of the session helped me craft a unique essay with some of the most honest writing I’ve ever done. I didn’t even care whether admissions officers would like it – I was proud of the piece! 

CollegeCore Education helped me not only to aspire big but also to work adequately towards the realization of my aspirations. Their constant involvement in the various aspects of college application building, especially essay construction and writing, is what helped me get through my dream school, Columbia University. Charu ma’am has been an essential part of this process and has never failed to encourage me and satisfy my endless inquiries. Urvashi ma’am and her team have been instrumental in the fruition of my dream by guiding me to make prudent choices and take realistic decisions.

My experience with CollegeCore was absolutely amazing. I don’t think I would have been able to receive anywhere near the results I obtained if I had worked by myself instead of with CollegeCore. The program does an outstanding job following up with students, ensuring deadlines are met and communication is maintained. I, myself struggled meeting all the deadlines and constantly keeping my mentors, Ms. Charu and Mrs. Urvashi, but they never gave up on me and kept pushing me to working hard to write all 60 or so essays for the 22 schools I applied to. I am not afraid to admit that it was only because of them plus the editors that allowed me to receive acceptance into 17 of those schools, with 12 of them being among the top 25 in the nation, including those like Johns Hopkins, Rice, UC Berkeley, U-Michigan Ross School of Business, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, UCLA, WashU in St. Louis, Emory… the list goes on! I can confidently say that they played a MAJOR role in me being admitted into these universities, as they helped me with every step throughout the way. My family and I laugh and joke all the time at where I would possibly have been without Ms. Charu and Mrs. Urvashi. They brought the best out of me, and even though I didn’t have the best SAT score, grades, and extracurriculars, they went above and beyond to work with me and ensure that I stood out among other applicants in my relatively competitive area. In my opinion, there shouldn’t even be a price tag on the service that CollegeCore provides, because it is truly priceless… I don’t think there is another program like CollegeCore out there. Applying to college is a stressful experience, however, the CollegeCore team made my experience so much easier. Both Urvashi Maam and Sonu Ma’am were great support systems and were always available to talk or answer any of my questions at any time of the day. Managing essay writing, SAT preparation as well as Squash training was challenging, but they were willing to work around my schedule and do whatever it takes to put me at ease. Their constant reminders and essay deadlines made me stop procrastinating and actually get down to working! 

I cannot thank them enough for guiding me in the right direction and ultimately helping me get into my dream college. If they had not urged me to take the risk and apply to Barnard, I may not have been in this situation today.

Ms. Urvashi Ma’am and the CollegeCore team helped me through every step in the college process. I loved their inputs for my essays as the suggestions really helped me write well and they gave me great ideas for what I can write.

I was very happy with the attention to detail that my counsellors gave to my extra-curricular activities. Since I was applying to the US, it was important that I portrayed my activities well, so they helped me effectively write my 10 activities in my CA list and also edit my CV in a way which showcases my interest in Business. Moreover, I also liked how they guided me with the edits needed to be made to my website. It is important that I portray it effectively and she helped me to do so with the focus on the most important aspects. In addition to the activities, I was also very happy with the standardized test suggestions given by the team. Since that was my weak area, Ms Anu continuously suggested what best needs to be done and accordingly helped me shortlist my universities- which was very important !

College Core has made a profound impact on my life. Ever since day one, they knew exactly how to harness my skills and bring out the best in me everyday. Their experience, professionalism, insight, coaching and guidance have not only helped me secure my dream college but have also helped me in all other facets of my life. Ma’am Urvashi and her team were there for me every step of the way, and I could not have done it without them.

We’ve interacted with Urvashi ma’am and her team for two years now and what I liked best about Urvashi ma’am was her depth of knowledge with respect to information on colleges across the world, their academic programs, their eligibility requirements, their standardized testing cut offs amongst other things. I was extremely touched by both Urvashi ma’am and Simerna ma’am’s level of personal involvement with me. They were also accessible at all points in time and were always just a phone call away. 

I really liked the way CollegeCore approaches the entire application submission process by breaking it up into sub-processes and scheduling these activities evenly all through the year. They were both gentle and firm at the same time and ensured that all my work happened as per schedule. I also thoroughly enjoyed the several essay brainstorming sessions I had with Riddhi Ma’am and these helped me immensely in understanding the prompts and structuring and penning down my thoughts.
Lastly, I loved the fact that the attention they gave to students didn’t end with the submission of the application form. Even after being accepted in the ED round, I got mails from Urvashi ma’am and her team informing me of the merit in taking the AP exams or the various tips to manage stress.

The College Core team was very systematic and helped me structure a plan that ensured I get into a top institution. CollegeCore analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of every applicant and chalks out a customised plan. They helped me bring out the best in myself and assisted me to put up a strong profile. 

A wow moment would be how quick the editors would get back to me with the edits and their insight on my application.

I am deeply grateful for their timely advice and patient handholding that always reduced the pressure as the deadlines approached. Personally, I found essay editing and availability to be their strongholds which made me always feel at home through my journey of two years with them. 

My Wow moment happened when Urvarshi Ma’am supported my inclination towards Liberal Arts despite my parents initial disapproval. She went at great lengths to explain them how enriching liberal arts education can be, enabling me to pursue the course of my choice.

A couple of ‘Wow’ moments I’ve had with CollegeCore over the past year are:
1. I was very anxious about getting the Excellence Award at my school. Anu Ma’am always believed in me and checked up on me till I got the award.
2. CollegeCore’s persistence to make their students finish their work whether it be filling the CommonApp Activity section or submitting essays before the deadline.

The process of applying to colleges in the United States is actually a very daunting one when it is approached with a lack of clarity and assistance. For me, it was especially challenging due to a gap year in the middle of my academic record and because I came from a high school with no prior experience of the same. CollegeCore helped me understand the process clearly from day 1 by preparing a calendar about what each month would entail and enlisting all deadlines. They presented me with advice on what tests to take up, even connecting me to a few tutors in case I needed extra help.
Both Urvashi ma’am and Charu ma’am were constantly updated on my progress and they regularly kept in touch to check up on essay progress, research work and helped me build on my profile. They were very approachable and made a huge difference in my college application process. They connected me to the Next Genius Foundation which has allowed me to pursue my education with a scholarship just as I was aiming to. The best part about this process is how they guide students through an admissions process that is tailor-made to fit each student’s needs, goals, achievements and academic history.

I discovered a lot about myself and my interests and goals while working with Urvashi Ma’am and her team. The entire application process gave me the time to introspect and discover my own self. I believe the editors at Collegecore are amazing especially Smita Ma’am. She has the ability to cut down a 1000 word essay by half and still make it sound better than what we write.

It was a fabulous experience working with College Core. Right from the very first meeting, they were extremely organised and clearly laid out a pathway for me to follow. The best part about working with them was how approachable they were; I could always pick up the phone and give Urvashi ma’am a call, no matter how trivial my doubt. They were extremely helpful during the entire process and have excellent advise- so just listen to whatever they say. They were also extremely hands-on when it came to fill up the Common App and write the essays. Really couldn’t have done it without them and I just want to thank them for all their help and guidance. The attention to detail and answering every query, be it insignificant or important, and quelling my worries was something that I could only find at CollegeCore. I loved friendly approach taken by all the counsellors and the welcoming atmosphere of the entire centre !

I come from a relatively small town, yet College Core helped me make the most of the opportunities I could find here and even inspired me to make some of my own! I think they helped me in achieving my goals by being a constant source of motivation and guidance !

 

I think the entire process was a Wow moment but one specific moment would definitely have to be when we were brainstorming about my Why Major Essay, I was blown away by the attention to detail of College Core to make sure I got into my dream university !

What I liked most about CollegeCore was the thoroughness and their time management. Being in a boarding school and having very little time to connect and follow, it helped me a lot to space out all my college work evenly so that I wasn’t worked up in the last minute.

CollegeCore not only guided me in my application but even as a person. Conversations with Simerna Ma’am would always instil positivity and confidence within me, which would unknowingly help me believe in my essays more. I was able to open up to her as well as receive advice from her. The warmth I felt from the entire team, either at their office or over the numerous phone calls, always made me feel comfortable enough to ask for any kind of help. They understood me really well and were able to help create my application as personalised as possible.
I would like to thank them, as the application process not only helped me grow but also helped me know myself better. Thank you for always being patient and honest with me:) I’ll miss you all a lot!

I got to know about CollegeCore in grade 11. Within 60 minutes of our first sitting, I already had a roadmap in my hand for the standardised tests and co-curricular activities listed in an organised timeline by Urvashi ma’am. Since then, it has been a journey worth the efforts. From selecting the universities with Urvashi ma’am to finalising the essays with Smita ma’am and the editors, I am deeply humbled by the guidance I received. It is worth to mention here about the last-minute mock-interview session I was fortunate enough to schedule with Ridhi ma’am. The session truly calmed my nerves just before I had an actual interview. If it is today that I call myself a proud Blue Devil, it is because of the valuable counselling I received from CollegCore over these years. Thank you!

 

Stress, stress, stress, stress!! There would have been no full-stop to the previous line if it wasn’t for College Core. I was on the brink of a breakdown, inches from a chasm of wasting an entire year of my life until I came across College Core. Despite having written thousands of words to express myself to multiple colleges that I applied to, I today feel short of words to describe the greatness that this organisation has.  However, I will try to make it as ‘personal and authentic’ as possible. Ms Urvashi came across as a beam of light from a lighthouse that directed me and kept my ship of college applications from sinking throughout. Her understanding and motivating nature kept me going no matter how stressed out I was. She would always hear me out regardless of how stubborn I could get ‘sometimes’. Collegecore’s assistance instilled within me the ability to see the light at the end of a tunnel. I would’ve called you crazy, if you would’ve told me that I would get an offer from the UK’s very best university for Economics, Warwick. I could have never done it without the support from the College Core team. Furthermore, I cannot thank Ms Kohli Smita and Ms.Urvashi enough for helping me out with my last-minute college essays and SOP. They helped me in producing my best essays and always understood what I had in mind. I feel incredibly blessed to have had the chance of working with the fantastic College Core Team! One thing that I can say without an ounce of doubt is that no matter the results, the effort that the team would put in would be priceless. I genuinely feel that is what counts and makes one successful! I recommend College Core to anyone who wants their application to stand out and give flight to their dream of studying in some of the best universities in the world.
