I decided to apply to UK only last November and since it was a rather belated decision I had several major concerns. For instance I did not think my personal statement would be good enough or ready in time for that matter. However, my first meeting with Mrs. Malik completely eased my concerns as she was so encouraging. I suddenly felt like not only would I be able to apply in time but I would also get into all 5 of the universities that I was applying to. The entire process was simplified by the CollegeCore team who were always just a phone call away. In conclusion, I had a wonderful experience working with CollegeCore whose guidance has been invaluable.

Initially, standardized testing, research papers, essays and college applications in addition to regular academics concerned me. However, Urvashi ma’am and the entire CollegeCore team helped me streamline the process.

The detail oriented approach, which included application filling sessions, seminars on researching colleges and the personal connect were unique aspects of my experience with them. Moreover, the deluge of essay reminders, the constant emails regarding extracurriculars and the endless support kept me motivated. This personalized experience ensured that I never felt as if I were a “client” at CollegeCore.

I can unequivocally say that hard work coupled with CollegeCore’s guidance paved the way for me to achieve my goals.

Juggling college essays, SAT and schoolwork all at the same time is extremely disconcerting. But the CollegeCore team put me at ease instantly. The application timelines, essay workshops and personalized feedback on essays, both CommonApp and college specific, made applying to colleges in the US seem easy.

For me, a genuine and honest application was most important and Urvashi ma’am supported me in every way possible even when it meant letting me rewrite my CommonApp essay just a week before the early application deadline!

CollegeCore helped me find the perfect universities and supported me to dream big and apply to 5 Ivy Leagues. I can now say for sure, without them I wouldn’t have been able to call Princeton University my home for the next four years!

I want to thank Urvashi ma’am, Charu ma’am, the editor and the whole team for all the effort, time and love they put into each application!

My apprehensions while finding a counselor were the attention given to my son and his comfort working with them. After meeting with Urvashi Ma’am and her team, I felt my son was in the right hands. CollegeCore is a professional organisation, which understands the child and gives honest and accurate advice customized for each student. From the beginning, we felt at ease. They were flexible with their sessions, always looking at Ved’s comfort. Their suggestions were always practical. Also, the strict adherence to deadlines really helped us in keeping the application process streamlined, stress free and on track. Urvashi Ma’am is always accessible and that is commendable. As a parent, their prompt responses to all queries and concerns felt very reassuring. I am very grateful and thankful that with their guidance, Ved is going to one of the best universities of the world.

Having taken a gap year with a weak profile, I was concerned that these factors would count as negatives in my college applications however, after meeting Urvashi Ma’am and the College Core team, I was relieved and felt at ease. I am glad I was able to work so closely with CollegeCore! I never felt the distance, even though I was in Dehradun, because of the personal contact CollegeCore maintains with their students through numerous emails, phone calls and Skype sessions. My ‘Wow’ Moment? To be honest, it was the moment when I was admitted to one of my dream universities, UNC Chapel Hill. I’m more than happy with the end results and I know for a fact that I couldn’t have achieved this without CollegeCore. I want to thank everyone for helping me get here!

All my concerns were met giving me complete clarity. I was unclear about the application process and the courses offered by Ashoka. Biggest help provided was with the essay. Before seeking assistance from CollegeCore I was at a loss on how to approach the entire process. The team and Urvashi Ma’am guided me with patience and care. CollegeCore uses a very different way to approach problems faced by students. I met with many counselors but I was not satisfied as they told me what I already knew but the CollegeCore team took my views into account and then helped me according to my preferences.

I am very happy with my end result as it was my dream college and CollegeCore helped me get there.

Before meeting Urvashi ma’am, I was clueless about the application process to the US. Not only that, I was unsure about the subjects I wanted to take in Grade 11. But with her expert guidance and the entire team’s support, I was able to explore my interests, greatly improve upon my extracurriculars and enjoy the process, which is otherwise quite daunting and tedious. Whenever I had doubts and needed motivation, the entire team was always available to help me out and put me at ease. The best part was writing the college essays and working on the suggestions given by the editors and Urvashi ma’am. Working with CollegeCore was throughout an amazing experience, and I want to thank them for helping me get into my dream Ivy League college, that too under Early Decision!

The micro details and an eye for perfection sets CollegeCore apart from the rest. Systems, formats, follow-up emails and reminders are all designed to take students to the next level. Three cheers for CollegeCore.

How did CollegeCore help me? The millions of phone calls to Charu ma’am and Urvashi ma’am are testament to the millions of ways in which it helped me.

But the most significant?

It allowed me to recognize aspects about myself I didn’t like, those I didn’t want to advertise to a college. This analysis wasn’t based on an aptitude test or scores. It would be found in fun conversations with Disha about essays or meetings with Urvashi ma’am to understand the “why” behind each decision.

Once the recognition was in place, then came the hard but fun part. Hard because it involves a lot of work, fun because most of the work takes place at India Habitat Centre which is home to All American Diner.

This involved countless phone calls and emails of handholding and encouragement from Urvashi ma’am and limitless support from Charu ma’am. My first call for good SAT scores or failure to get the school post was to them. In addition to their support, they connect you with alumni or subject test teachers. With all this you will find yourself not only doing your best, but also enjoying it.

And lastly when you’re absolutely ready to give in to exhaustion, they will ensure you cross that last hurdle. For me it was the essay I wrote to UPenn. I had crossed every deadline set for me, and was almost ready to not apply to this university. At this point Charu ma’am spoke to me and extended the deadline again, encouraging me to have fun with this essay. Brilliant advice. Her advice allowed me to infuse spontaneity into that last essay – which in turn, turned out to be the only one that mattered.

I would never have gotten this far without your help and cannot thank you enough. The constant personal attention, care and amazing brainstorming sessions with Urvashi ma’am were invaluable in getting me through this whole crazy college process! You have helped me through the most stressful times and I cannot express enough gratitude for your accessibility. I am so ecstatic to be at SMU in the fall. Thank You!

CollegeCore has definitely given direction to my aspirations and plans. From the first meeting on deciding my Grade 11 subjects to the last for discussing the right college for me, Urvashi ma’am and her team have had a steady presence in my endeavor for higher education.

But, what I love the most about CollegeCore is how the team strikes a perfect balance between professionalism – with detailed emails, planners, confirmations – and personalization through workshops, brainstorming and panic phone calls. I also love the steadfast atmosphere, which stems from Urvashi ma’am’s experience and her back of the hand knowledge on everything from academic intensity to campus facilities. This experience definitely instills confidence as you know your future is in the right hands.

Assurance, support, advice and re-assurance can always be found here and if you’re looking for the best colleges, go to the best counsellors and so hurry to CollegeCore.

Before joining CollegeCore, the only concern I had was communication since I lived 3 cities away. However, CollegeCore did not let this hinder the process and was relentless in getting work done by either calling me or my parents, sending email reminders, similar to my nagging mum. I am extremely happy having worked with CollegeCore, especially my allocated counselor, and I feel that I couldn’t have received such personalised attention and dedication anywhere else. I am over the moon with my acceptances and my end destination in the fall, especially because it was listed as a “Dream” on my university list. I would like to thank Mrs. Malik and her team for helping me out through this cumbersome process and helping me realise where I can get the best for my future. It wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Thank You!

I was completely unsure and oblivious of the entire process but over time after having numerous discussions with all of you all my doubts got cleared. The entire CollegeCore staff was very approachable, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient with respect to college essays and the entire application process. When the essays were edited and sent back to me, almost all essays, especially my main CommonApp essay, were ‘Wow’ moments. I am very happy with the end results. The CollegeCore team is extremely friendly, understanding, very matter of fact and persistent in pushing us to get the work done

I remember the first day I was here with my mum and dad, all of us absolutely unsure and unaware of about how to go about the entire process of applying outside and how Urvashi ma’am talked some sense into us.  I’m really glad we had the opportunity to work together and am grateful for everything, be it the endless reminders by Charu ma’am for completing my LOR’s and Resume or providing me with a laptop to work on when I’d forgotten to bring it with me on the most important day. I’m sorry for any trouble I caused, which I did on numerous occasions, and thank you for always saving the day! Getting into a University as good as HKUST would not have been possible without you. Thank you so much for everything!

We were novices. Kamya was relying heavily on CollegeCore for guidance in the entire process involving the CommonApp, writing essays, developing a CV, selection of colleges, in depth knowledge about each college and more. We have only this to say that the process was meticulously planned and very well executed. Though taxing but highly rewarding. All the best!
